How is a league different from a tournament?+
A tournament is a day or a weekend. A league runs weekly over a set number of weeks at the same venue, on the same night, with standings that build across the weeks and carry into finals.
Do I need a team to join?+
It depends on the division. Doubles divisions take a pair, and you invite your partner the same way you would for a tournament. Singles divisions take individual entries.
Can I join after week one?+
Often yes. Organisers set a join policy and can allow entries up to a nominated week, with standings adjusted so a late entry is not scored against weeks they did not play.
What is early bird pricing?+
Organisers can set a lower price up to a deadline. Where one is running the listing shows the early bird figure and the date it ends, then reverts to the standard price automatically.
